Kyle Hittmeier was born in New Jersey, though raised in Sacramento, California after his father’s ill attempt to relocate the family in pursuit of joining the California Gold Rush of 1848. While attending the University of California, Davis he was active in the urban art scene of Sacramento spending much of his time running galleries and alternative spaces. He has worked with contemporary artists and curators in Sacramento, San Francisco, Boston, and New York City. Kyle currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
